Spencer Gordon joined Horton’s as the Director of Pedorthics in 2022. He earned his ABC/BOC certification as a pedorthist in 2009 and his ABC certification as an orthotic fitter in 2013. As a young entrepreneur, Spencer owned and managed a footwear store in Chesapeake, VA; and quickly recognized the importance of foot health and appropriate footwear in a person’s overall well-being. The significant impact this could have on the community is what led him to begin training to become a certified pedorthist. His experience includes working for over ten years at one of the largest O&P providers in the country where he gained a wealth of knowledge in all the ways pedorthics could accomplish his goal of “helping people walk better”. Spencer is passionate about creating partnerships with physicians; and he helped educate residents in the podiatry program at Yale’s medical facilities on the many ways a partnership with a Board Certified Pedorthist would benefit their patients. Spencer is happy to be back home in Arkansas and to be a part of Horton’s family-owned company. In his leisure time he enjoys creating many forms of art such as painting, sculpting, and designing jewelry and, of course, loves every minute spent with his family. Spencer takes appointments at all central Arkansas offices for both adults and children.
